We proudly introduce Electrosolda, a business venture of young women and men who graduated from Fundación HAME's technical training programs. This initiative demonstrates progress in implementing the Municipal Policy for Socioeconomic Inclusion as an alternative to irregular migration in Coatepeque.
For seven months, Fundación HAME has supported this group of entrepreneurs through training and technical assistance. They are ready to provide welding and electrical services in Coatepeque, serving both the residential and business sectors.
On July 9th, they received tools to begin operations. The delivery included welding equipment, grinders, drills, ladders, rotary hammers, various tools, and personal protective equipment. In addition, key materials such as metal profiles and basic supplies for their activities were included.
This donation was made by representatives of Fundación HAME, with financial support from the Migrant Voices for Change Project of Avina Foundation and the Swedish International Cooperation Agency.
These resources will be key to Electrosolda's technical and commercial development, allowing it to make solid progress and consolidate itself in the local market.
