As part of the project "Creating Socioeconomic Opportunities as Alternatives to Irregular Migration" in Coatepeque, Quetzaltenango, we held a workshop to promote training and job placement for people at risk of migration, within the context of ethical human talent management at Grupo HAME.
The event took place on April 3rd and was led by Grupo HAME's Human Talent team, which provided an interactive session for participants.
Young graduates of technical programs promoted by Fundación HAME were invited, especially in the areas of welding, electricity, and electromechanics. We also included INTECAP's students close to graduating in related technical programs.
A total of 31 people participated in the workshop, expressing their satisfaction with the methodology used, the clarity of the information shared, and the participatory atmosphere generated.
This initiative is another effort to generate sustainable economic opportunities for young people through technical training and responsible engagement with the local labor market.
