We make alliances that cultivate impact

As part of our "Together We Cultivate the Future" meeting, we held the discussion "Strategic Alliances for Impact" with three partner organizations of Fundación HAME. We share a firm commitment to sustainable development, gender equity, environmental conservation, the creation of alternatives to irregular migration and the strengthening of local capacities.

In this discussion, facilitated by Xiomara Lima-Schwarz, member of Fundación HAME's Board of Directors, we were joined by Denia del Valle, Pro Mujer Representative in Guatemala; Sindy Hernández, guatemalan Coordinator of the "Migrant Voices for Change" project of Avina Foundation; and Bayron Castellanos, Executive Director of BALAM Association.

The panel shared how strategic alliances are built, what lessons have emerged from them, and how the collective reach can be further expanded to generate significant transformations in the rural areas where we work. Our partners recognized that achieving a deep and sustainable impact requires a diversity of approaches and experiences, a deep understanding of community contexts, placing people at the center of strategies, and strengthening trust and inter-institutional collaboration.

We deeply appreciate the participation of each of our partner organizations, as well as their commitment to a shared vision of change, joining forces for a more fair and sustainable future.
