Fundación HAME and the Migrant Voices for Change project of Fundación Avina and ASDI reaffirm their commitment to continue supporting the implementation of the Municipal Policy for Socioeconomic Inclusion as an alternative to irregular migration in Coatepeque. For this reason, on May 13th, we held a job fair in Coatepeque's central park, with support from Fundación HAME and the municipality's mayor's office. The event brought together more than 20 companies, providing the population with a valuable opportunity to enter the formal labor market.

The companies present included Grupo HAME, Pollo Campero, pharmacies, hospitals, banks, finance companies, hardware stores, home improvement stores, credit organizations, employment agencies, insurance companies, and savings and credit cooperatives. In addition, INTECAP promoted technical training as a path to job placement through a demonstration by graduate stylists.

During the event, more than 150 people were able to learn about job openings in the area, fill out applications, submit their resumes, and speak directly with company representatives, in addition to learning about the most attractive job profiles in the region.
